We love coconut. We love a spritz of lime. So does, Bill Gourdie, the winemaker at Bushy Run Winery who is introducing their Pinot Colada, a new twist on a traditional wine at Wine Time at the Colony on August 21st.
This is an off dry Pinot Grigio infused with coconut and lime wine. The result is just enough sweetness from the coconut to add a delicate note. It blends with the refreshing lime and the Pinot Grigio becomes a mellow mix.
Yes, it does taste like a Pina Colada. But the journey for the taste buds is definitely more interesting! Bushy Run is also bringing Strawberry Splash. The strawberry wine is splashed with the light tasting Watermelon.
